About Sokołów S.A group
SOKOŁÓW S.A. is a company based in the town of Sokołów Podlaski. It currently has seven production plants, situated in Sokołów Podlaski, Koło, Robakowo, Dębica, Czyżew, Jarosław and Tarnów. Three of the branches (in Sokołów Podlaski, Robakowo and Jarosław) are engaged in pig slaughtering and processing. The Koło and Tarnów branches carry out cattle slaughtering, while those in Czyżew and Dębica are engaged exclusively in processing.
SOKOŁÓW S.A. is a multi-site company with a full production profile, and is the most recognizable brand in the Polish market. The company’s branches are licensed to export to the United States, the European Union, Korea, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Japan, the United Arab Emirates and other third countries. The company operates in the most modern facilities in Poland. Our production lines make it possible to produce a wide range of products, aimed at different categories of customers, both domestic and foreign. SOKOŁÓW S.A. produces around 22 000 tonnes of meat and meat products every month. We offer customers products of all types, all of the highest quality, including fresh pork and beef (boneless and on-the-bone), pig half-carcasses, cattle quarter-carcasses, culinary meat, meat for roasting, ham, salami, cooked and smoked meats, thin sausages, dry cured meats, barbecue meats, ready meals and tinned meat.
With its export licences, SOKOŁÓW S.A. exports to a large number of markets, offering a very wide range of products. Export sales account for around one-third of its revenue. The main market is that of the European Union. We also export our products to such countries as Japan, Russia, South Korea and the United States.
SOKOŁÓW S.A. offers safe and healthy food, as confirmed by internationally recognized certificates: production is carried out in accordance with the HACCP, ISO 9001, IFS and BRC systems.

The company Igloomeat-Sokołów Sp. z o.o. is transformed into Sokołów S.A. Dębica Branch (December). Implementation of the SAP system (May). Sokołów-Pozmeat Sp. z o.o. is transformed into Sokołów S.A. Robakowo Branch (January).

Super Brand and Business Super Brand titles awarded to Sokołów S.A.

2006
Sokołów S.A. buys the Pozmeat Meat Plant in Robakowo near Poznań. In mid August, following completion of the necessary procedures, the company Sokołów S.A. is withdrawn from the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

The world-renowned Danish meat concern Danish Crown becomes a second strategic investor in the Group. The two investors have formed the Saturn Nornic Holding AB company, and currently through that company hold 100% of the shares in Sokołów S.A.

A new strategic investor is obtained – the well-known Finnish meat concern HK Ruokatalo.

Launch of the “Together into the Future” livestock breeding and production programme on farms belonging to the Group.

Farm Food Group merges with the Sokołów Group – consolidation of the industry leaders in Poland, forming the country’s largest meat processing enterprise. The Jarosław Meat Plant becomes the first in the meat industry to obtain an ISO 9002 certificate. Opening of the Pozmeat plant at the newly built site in Robakowo, near Poznań.
