Ingredients:

  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 0,5 - lemon
  • 0,5 teaspoons chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 - onions
  • 6 leaves coriander
  • - a pinch of salt
  • 1,5 teaspoons caraway seeds
  • 5 tablespoons garam masala
  • 0,5 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 2-3 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder

Vindaloo chicken

Cooking instructions:

Squeeze lemon juice and mix it with vinegar, chopped onions, mustard seeds and half of the spices. Add cubed chicken to the marinade and leave to soak for at least 3-4 hours. Glaze the onions over oil, add crushed garlic, 1/2 teaspoon ginger, the remaining spices and salt, stir. Add marinated chicken and fry over strong fire for a few minutes. Turn the fire down and braise for 20 minutes, continuing to stir. Add water, when needed, to prevent sticking. Serve the Vindaloo chicken hot with rice, garnished with coriander leaves.
