Ingredients:

  • 2 kg beef tenderloin
  • 80 g pork fat
  • 80 g butter
  • - to taste salt
  • 1 bunch garden dill

Roast beef

Cooking instructions:

Rub the meat with salt and lard it with pork fat. Place the meat in a roasting pan and douse in melted butter. Roast for approx. 45 minutes in an oven pre-heated to 180oC. While roasting, regularly pour the grave over meat. Once the surface turns brown, turn the roast beef over. The beef should be juicy and pink on the inside. Garnish the roast beef with chopped dill before serving.
