Its headquarters are located in Sokołów Podlaski and the production facilities are located in Sokołów Podlaski, Robakowo, Koło, Dębica, Czyżewo, Jarosław, Tarnów and Osie. The company also has an office in Warsaw.
Since many years, Sokołów S.A. Group remains a precursor of changes and sets new standards in meat processing industry. Only the best raw materials are used in production, in large part obtained within the frameworks of cooperation programmes with breeders. The production takes place in accordance with the requirements of internationally recognized IFS and BRC standards. The Sokołów S.A. was the first meat company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (in 1993). The Company has left the Warsaw Stock Exchange in 2006.
History of the Sokołów S.A. dates back to 1899, when the Company branch in Robakowo was created. The other branches have a history of great passion and experience, that allow the Group to build its strengths every day. Each branch is created by people. The current Sokołów S.A. shareholder is the international Danish Crown group specialising in food production and slaughtering of pigs and cattle. Danish Crown is the largest meat exporter in the world and Europe's biggest meat processing company. Their products reach the farthest corners of the world.

On 30 May 2018, the Sokołów Group acquired the Gzella Meat Group (Gzella Grupa Mięsna) along with a production facility located in Osie in the Tuchola Forest. It’s the next step in the realisation of the company strategy, which includes providing optimal conditions for stable growth for all facilities and companies, a steady strengthening of market position, improvement of the business profile and product quality, as well as being a partner for the clients and consumers.
Management Boards of the merging companies: SOKOŁÓW S.A. with its registered office in Sokołów Podlaski (as the Acquiring Company) and Gzella Net Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Osie (as the Acquired Company), acting in accordance with Art. 500 § 2.1 of the Commercial Companies Code, make public, free of charge, the Merger Plan agreed upon on 27 May 2018 in Sokołów Podlaski, for a period beginning not later than one month before the commencement of meetings of shareholders of the merging companies, which are to adopt the resolutions on the merger, continuously until the date of closing the of meetings adopting the resolutions on the merger.
