MAD DOG - SPICY HOT DOGS WITH VEGETABLES
Ingredients
4 Sokołów ham wieners
4 hot dog buns
2 pickled cucumbers
1/2 red onion
2 tablespoons ketchup
1-2 bay leaves
2-3 grains allspice
1 small chilli pepper
fresh basil
Preparation
- Heat wieners in water with the addition of 2-3 allspice grains and 1-2 bay leaves. Dice the onion and pickled cucumbers. Wash the chilli pepper, remove seed core and finely chop. Mix ingredients with chopped coriander. Add 2 tablespoons of ketchup and mi again.
- Cut hot dog buns lengthwise (but don’t cut them all the way) and warm them gently on a pan or in an oven. Spread stuffing on the buns. Put 1 wiener into each bum. Before serving, you can decorate the hot dogs with basil leaves and spicy chilli peppers.
